Inmiddels werken er vanuit twee locaties (Rijssen en Oosterhout) 160 mensen bij VolkerWessels Bouwmaterieel en heeft de verhuurvloot een vervangingswaarde van meer dan \u20ac100 miljoen.\u00a0Onder meer door digitalisering en de slimme inzet van data veranderde het van sec een verhuurder naar een meedenkende partner en adviseur van bouwers door het hele land.\r\n<h2>Meer ondersteuning dankzij digitalisering<\/h2>\r\nOngeveer 10 jaar geleden merkte VolkerWessels Bouwmaterieel dat de materieelbehoefte van klanten veranderde. Bouwbedrijven bleken namelijk meer behoefte te hebben aan ondersteuning. Met digitalisering en de inzet van slimme data probeerde VolkerWessels Bouwmaterieel in te spelen op deze behoefte. In 2011 werden de eerste stappen op het gebied van data en digitalisering gezet.
