De andere bedrijven hadden het wel, maar gebruikten het eigenlijk alleen als een soort van veredeld boekhoudpakket. Bovendien hadden alle bedrijven echt hun eigen processen, werkwijzen en manier van rapporteren. Het management kreeg daardoor elk kwartaal allerlei verschillende Excel- bestanden met de resultaten. Het is heel moeilijk om dan een goede en betrouwbare kwartaalafsluiting te doen. Onder andere daarom streefden we naar \u00e9\u00e9n en dezelfde manier van werken, een uniform bedrijfsproces voor de verschillende bedrijven.'\r\n<h2>Geen demo, wel een proof of concept<\/h2>\r\nEen uitdaging, wist Alain meteen. Maar wel een mooie uitdaging. \u201cVijf bedrijven met elk een eigen werkwijze, acht business units en 650 medewerkers, dat moesten we samenbrengen in \u00e9\u00e9n ERP-pakket. Allemaal losse stukken die \u00e9\u00e9n geheel moesten worden.
